ABOUT THE DESIGN:
This eagle was tattooed mostly during the 30's and 40's and belongs to some of the earliest Russian Criminal tattoos. It symbolized strength and freedom It was very popular among the Thieves of that time. This particular one was a play to mix the Soviet hammer and sickle with the Imperial eagle of Tsarist Russia. A good representation of Russia today which can't quite get away from it's Soviet ways.
On the front is the Flying Skull Logo, an old "Leader of the Expropriates" tattoo. A popular tattoo during the 50's, it meant the wearer was a leader of a group of men who partook in separating Soviet underground millionaires from a little of their "extra" resources.
Each hoodie also has the "MIR"logo on the back that was inspired by an old pick-pocket tattoo. "MIR" is the Russian word for "peace", but in the criminal world it's an acronym that stands for "Menya Ispravit Rastrel" which translates roughly to "Execution will Reform Me".
Silk Screen Printed on an Organic Cotton fleece lined cotton hoodies.
